In order to revenge the death of her parents from people who were embedded in her mind as a young girl watching her parents being killed, she trained under her uncle to study the art of becoming a professional killer, her uncle being an assassin himself and runs a business of killing people for a price.  Her talents soon enabled her to revenge the death of her parents, by liquidating their killers one by one.

Cast also in the lead starring role will be a French American actor,  Michael Vartan, who is best known for his appearances in a  television action drama series titled Alias. Shooting of Colombiana started August of last year with location stops made in Chicago, New Orleans, Mexico and the last being Paris. Actually, there is a subtle twist to the story of Colombiana.
